The death of Mrs. Wilhelmina Bierman occurred Wednesday night at 9:45 o’clock. Her death was caused by intestinal obstruction. She was much weaker during the day and her friends were informed early in the evening by the attending physician that her death would occur before midnight.

Mrs. Bierman, whose maiden name was Falke, was born in Scheie, Germany in 1833. She became acquainted with and betrothed to George Bierman while living in Scheie. He came to this country in 1855, settling in this city. Mrs. Bierman was twenty-five years old when she came to this country in 1858. On her arrival in this city they were married at once, and all her life since has been passed in this city. Her husband’s death occurred in 1887. Of her relatives only two nephews survive her, William Struckman and Fred Falke, both of Indianapolis. She died at her home on North Home avenue, where S. B. Eccles and family have lived since his marriage. She was sixty-two years of age. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
