Death of Mrs. Barnes.

Died, at the residence of Mr. Jacob Madison, in Hensley township, on Christmas night, Mrs. Elizabeth Barnes, of general debility and old age. She had been confined to her bed for about five months. She was 78 years, 3 months and 16 days old. She had been married twice, surviving both husbands – the last of whom died about six years ago. She was the mother of D. W. Cooper, of that township, who is her oldest son, and eight other children who survive her. Her first husband, Abraham Coop­er, died in 1859. Her remains were buried by the side of her first husband in the Hamilton graveyard, Morgan County, on Friday last.
