FLORENCE BARKER
A funeral service for Florence P. Barker, 91, Franklin, was held today at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, with the Rev. Ray Chapman officiating. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.
Mrs. Barker died Saturday at Franklin Healthcare Center.
She was born in Bartholomew County June 3, 1894, to Edward and Ada (Ensley) Hill.
She married Roy Barker Feb. 5, 1913. He died in 1971.
She is survived by three daughters, Josephine Henderson, Edinburgh; Ada Mae Carter, Tipton, and Mildred L. Schrader, Indianapolis; a brother, Frank Hill, Fort McCoy, Fla.; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She had lived in Edinburgh most of her life until 1967 when she moved to Franklin. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
