Anderson services scheduled

Paul 'Stooge' R. Anderson, 53, 269 West Elm Street, Morgantown, died early today at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Anderson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Myers-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.

Burial is set for East Hill Cemetery.

Funeral services will be presided over by Rev. Clarence Davis.

Calling hours are set at the Myers-Clark Funeral Home from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and until services Wednesday.

Mr. Anderson was born Nov. 17, 1921 to Arthur and Marie (Dine) Anderson in Johnson County.

He is survived by his father, Arthur 'Southpaw' Anderson, Morgantown; brother, A.P. 'Job' Anderson of Morgantown; sister, Mrs. Betty St. John of Morgantown; two nieces and one nephew.

Anderson was preceded in death by one brother.

Anderson was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army.

The deceased was retired from the Eli Lilly Company, where he served as a supervisor for 20 years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, April 16, at the Myers-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown for Paul R. (Stooge) Anderson, Elm Street, Morgantown.

Anderson, 53, died April 14 at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Martinsville.

He was born in Johnson County on November 17, 1921, to Arthur and Marie (Dine) Anderson.

His father, Arthur (Southpaw) survives and his mother preceded him in death in April 1971. One brother preceded him in death also.

Anderson was a retired Eli Lilly employee and was an army veteran of World War II.

Surviving include one brother, A.P. (Job) Anderson, Morgantown and one sister, Mrs. Betty St. John, Morgantown; 2 nieces and one nephew.

Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery, the Reverend Clarence Davis presiding.
