Brown County native Louis Dale Anderson, 66, Bargersville, died on Monday, October 5, 1981 at his residence.
He was born on January 20, 1915 to Sylvan Renso and Gertrude Swift Anderson.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Jean Applegate, whom he married in 1936, and Ellen Britt, whom he married in 1954.
Anderson attended Brown County schools and was a retired maintenance employee at Ford Motor Company and also worked for Morman Harrison in Indianapolis.
After living near Scottsville, Kentucky, in Allen County for years, he moved to Johnson County in December 1976. His survivors are a son, Louis Ted Anderson of Indianapolis; his mother Gertrude Anderson of Franklin; three brothers, Donald Wayne Anderson of Route 5, Franklin, Harlen E. and Clyde E. Anderson both of Franklin; three sisters, Mildred McFarland of Route 1, Morgantown, Margaret Schrougham of Greenwood and Marjorie Essex of Columbus; several nieces and nephews.
Dr. E. Richard Lane officiated at the funeral service last Wednesday at Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin. Graveside rites were held Thursday by Rev. James M. Cook at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville, Kentucky.
