TRAFALGAR, Sept. 25.—Joseph Bailey Anderson, age 78, well known resident of Hensley township, passed away Sunday morning about five o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. P. Denton, following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services will be held at the Trafalgar Christian Church Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock.

Mr. Anderson was born south of Trafalgar and throughout his entire life has been a resident of Hensley Township. He became well known through his profession of carpentering. For the past nine years he had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Denton.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Denton, a sister, Mrs. Anna Stainbrook of Shelbyville, five brothers, Alley Anderson of Trafalgar, John Anderson of Illinois, Robert Anderson of Shelbyville, and three grandchildren, Mrs. Robert Handley of Franklin, Mrs. Shirley Sifford of Trafalgar, and Joseph Denton of Trafalgar.

He was a member of the Trafalgar Baptist Church and of the I. O. O. F. Lodge. Burial will be made in the First Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
