Arm Alexander, one of the oldest and best known citizens of Johnson County died Wednesday noon at his home in Trafalgar after a long illness. For many years he was a prominent business man in Franklin and engaged extensively in the pork packing business. When the panic of 1873 came on, he with others lost nearly all his large property inter­ests. Funeral services were held yes­terday afternoon at First Mt. Pleasant church.
