Last Saturday afternoon Henry Admire, a prominent farmer of White River township, aged about seventy years, went to Greenwood on business. Not returning home as promptly as was expected, a son was sent to look after him and he was found lying in the road near Greenwood unconscious. He was immediately removed to his home where he died at three o’clock the following morning. Coroner Jones went out to view the remains and determined that death was caused by apoplexy. The funeral took place from the residence of the deceased on Monday morning at 10 o’clock.

He was stricken and fell from his buggy late Saturday evening, May 24, and was found some two hours later and taken to his home five miles west of Greenwood, where he died without having recovered consciousness Sunday morning, May 25th.
