EDINBURGH — Pauline Adams, 42, of 502 S. Holland in Edinburgh, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Bartholomew County hospital. The wife of Ronald Adams, she had been ill for several months.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Eskew Funeral Home by the Rev. Gerald Gardner. Burial will be at the Rest Haven cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Adams was born May 20, 1935, in Liberty, Ky., to Millard and Betty Allen Johnson, who survive and live at Edinburgh. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Columbus.

Surviving with the husband and parents are six children, Bonnie, Ronald Jr., and Sandy Adams, all at home, Shirley Malline of Edinburgh, Janet Rogers of Greenwood and Danny Adams, with the Army at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.; six brothers, Wilbert, Vitis, Lucian, Biral and Shirley Johnson, all of Edinburgh and Omer Johnson of Rockville; three sisters, Emma Jean [Imogene] McGaha, Margie Burton and Ruby Curry, all of Edinburgh, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Oval Johnson.
